Free AI Visibility Check — see if AI assistants recommend your business.
Type your website address. We ask an AI assistant the question your customers ask — “best plumber in Tucson” — and tell you whether your name comes up, who came up instead, and what is getting in the way.
The free check runs on Perplexity. Paid plans track ChatGPT and Gemini directly.
Four things, and that is the whole report.
One of them is a real question put to a real AI assistant. The other three are inputs you control, which is what makes them worth checking.
- 01
Are you showing up?
We ask Perplexity for a local recommendation in your city, in your line of work, and read the answer it gives. You get the real answer text back, whether your business was named in it, where you fell in the list, which competitors were named instead of you, and the sources it read to decide.
- 02
Can AI read your website?
We fetch your robots.txt, then request your homepage as each major AI crawler in turn — GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and the rest — because a site can welcome a bot in robots.txt and still have the server or the firewall turn it away. Those are different problems with different fixes, so we report them separately.
- 03
Are you in the lists AI reads?
AI assistants lean on directories to decide who is real and who is nearby. We check the ones that count for your industry and tell you which ones have you, which ones do not, and which are worth the ten minutes it takes to fix.
- 04
Does your site say who you are?
There is a small block of structured data that states, in a form a machine cannot misread, that you are a local business — your name, and where you are. It is invisible to visitors, so nothing looks wrong on your page when it is missing. We look for it on your homepage and tell you plainly whether it is there, incomplete, or missing.
A page you can actually read.
The answer itself, not a score — you read what the AI actually said about businesses like yours, in your town.
The competitors it named instead — usually the fastest way to see the size of the gap.
A plain-English verdict per check — green means fine, orange means fixable. No acronyms, no score out of 100.
A link you can send on — the report has its own address, so your web person can read it without you re-running anything.
The limits, before you run it — not after.
It asks Perplexity, not ChatGPT
Perplexity is grounded on the same open-web sources ChatGPT and Gemini read, which makes it a fast and honest proxy — but it is a proxy, and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise. Paid plans query ChatGPT and Gemini directly, every week.
It is one question, once
a snapshot, not a trend. AI answers move week to week, so a single run tells you where you stood the moment you asked, not where you sit on average.
There is no ranking to be top of
AI assistants have no fixed leaderboard, and nobody controls the output. Anyone selling you a #1 spot in ChatGPT is guessing. What can be moved is how often you get mentioned at all.
It may tell you nothing is wrong
if you are already showing up, the report will say so and we will not invent a problem to sell you a fix.
Questions about this check specifically.
Broader questions — what Seenvia does, what it costs, whether you need it — are answered on the main FAQ. Or email hi@seenvia.com; a real person reads it.
Yes — free, and there is no account, no card and no email gate. You type a website address and get the report. We pay for the AI query that runs behind it, which is why there is a limit on how many checks one visitor can run in a day.
About 30 seconds. Three of the four checks run against your website and finish almost immediately; the fourth is a live question put to an AI assistant, and that is the part you wait for.
Your website address. We read the site to work out your business name, your city and your main service, then show you what we found so you can correct it before the check runs — that matters, because those three things are what the AI question is built from.
No. The report is written for someone who runs a dental practice or a plumbing business, not for someone who builds websites. Every finding is a sentence, and anything that needs fixing comes with what to do about it.
Perplexity. It is grounded on the same open-web sources ChatGPT and Gemini pull from, so it is a fast and honest proxy for what those assistants see — but it is a proxy, and we will never claim to check something we do not. Paid plans query ChatGPT and Gemini directly, every week.
Nothing stops you, and the report will be accurate. It is more useful on your own site, though: the three website checks are only actionable on a site you can change, and the free check already names the competitors an AI mentioned ahead of you.
It sits at its own address for a while, so you can come back to it or send it to whoever looks after your website, and then it expires — free report links go stale quickly and we would rather they expired than misled you. We do not publish them, we ask search engines not to index them, and we do not sell what is in them.
A single check is a photograph. AI answers shift week to week, so if you are making changes, re-running it in a month tells you more than re-running it tomorrow. Watching it properly week over week is what the paid plans are for.
Find out where you stand right now.
One website address is the whole ask. If everything is already fine, the report will tell you that — and you can get on with your day.
